Good Evening I struggle with lunches at work. Does anyone have any easy lunch ideas?

Yes, that is a Lodge cast iron pan. I love it!

I like my steak at about 1.5 or 2 at the most.

My misfit order looks almost identical to yours.

I am thinking of making noodles out of the yellow squash, then sauteeing strips of chicken with garlic and some pepper. Add mushrooms too? Create a curried cream sauce to top it off using bone broth and either coconut milk or heavy cream.

I’ve been doing IF and eating low carb for the better part of 2 months now. I have lost a decent amount of weight and generally feel better. My question is how many carbs is considered “low carb “ in a day or a week?

Good question Bill and congrats on your success so far. As you mentioned the weight loss is easy to track but you also mentioned that you "generally feel better". This is as or more important than just weight loss. Everyone has their own "lowcarb" point so that is difficult to answer. Generally lowcarb in diet is per meal/day as opposed to week.

A bit of topic but what about drinks? I'm assuming water is the best.

I've been trying to cut back on coffee/caffeine so I've been squeezing half a lemon into hot water. It's good and seems to work for me. How about flavored seltzers, diet ginger ale, Gatorade or vitamin water zero?

All no calorie options, but I'm curious your thoughts. Thanks

Good question. My general rule is to not drink your calories. Flavored drinks are OK, but even artificial sweeteners can keep your sweet/sugar cravings going, so probably best to avoid artificial sweeteners altogether. If you truly have a sweet craving that you must give in to, try a small serving of fruit at the END of your meal. Carbs at the end of your meal may not be as Insulin raising as if you had carbohydrates at the beginning of your meal.
