Similar to other comments, I take D3+K2, Mag, Omega 3, Ubiquinol, Hawthorn, Aged Garlic, Liposomal C -- I think I've benefited most from the Hawthorn (overall heart health/BP) and the C (shortens any feeling of illness coming on); if I had to pick what I thought was most effective though, it would have to be Apple Cider Vinegar. That's something that when feeling any kind of gastro issue or reflux, seems to miraculously help and quickly too.
I get tons of supplements from Dr. H's office & Site, but buy others from Young Living and Life Time since I work for those companies and sell them. I do love D and Magnesium, but I'll chime in with a supplement you wouldn't know about - because it works! It's called Inner Defense and it's a capsule of Oregano oil and Thieves oil (which is Clove, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, Lemon & Rosemary) with Thyme. What does it work for? To me, it's like a pre-antibiotic. If I start feeling something in throat or just know something is going on, I take this and it wipes it out most of the time! Ask Dr. H I haven't been on an antibiotic in yearrrrrs for anything. I also take Life 9, probiotic daily as that is also for immune system, especially if I'm taking Inner Defense (it's as needed, not daily). Have you ever looked up Oregano oil to see all the good things it's for? You can check them out here: https://www.youngliving.com/us/en/myaccount/wishlist?listId=63d1aad9856c87000abd6baf&enrollerId=11741640&sponsorId=11741640&userName=Dawn
I decline to respond on the basis that if Big Brother sees this post they'll find a way to ban everything listed 😭
The D3+K2 is very good, I've heard we can only get so much Vit D from the sun, and also that some people have Vit D receptor resistance so they have to take a buttload of it before their body finally starts to make use of it. There's also been the argument made that K2 isn't necessary when taking tons of D3..but I've made the mistake of overdoing D3 without taking K2, and ooohwee, I would not ever do that again 🤕
If I had to pick one, I'd say high quality omega-3 fish oil, it noticeably helped improve my energy and also seemed to go to bat for my brain during the week of that mild concussion awhile back.
Going to give the phosphatidylcholine another try eventually too, think it would've helped more at the time if I had more of the groundwork in place first.
It looks like the most common supplement happens to be VitD, best used with k2.
If u get adequate sunshine you may not need VitD supplement. But u can best tell that with a blood test.
If u eat plenty of meat and cheese, you probably get enough K2 as well. No great blood test for that yet.
Magnesium is probably next as it is involved in so many different health mechanisms in the body. It also works well with VitD and K.
If you have gut or autoimmune issues, Colostrum is a good one. There are a few brands I recommend. One is available at my office that was formulated for professionals to have more of the active ingredients than general formulations. I actually have samples of this one.
The other is available online and I have a discount code I can provide if anyone is interested.
Also if anyone buys a lot of supplements, all paid subscribers to Common Sense Health and Wellness can get a 25% discount off all supplements thru our Fullscript online account. Paid subscriptions are only $5/m, so if you buy on average over $20/month of supplements you save more money than the subscription.
Not a sales pitch.
Just an offer to do the math and see if you can save some $$
It's a toss up...If I could be ensured access to sunlight 365 days a year, I'd say a high-quality omega 3's, as the body hurts when I don't get them. But if poor or limited access to sunlight, then I'd have to go with D3/K2.
The big six for me! NAC, zinc, D3/K2, liposomal vitamin C, Ubiquinol, combo of turmeric, lemon juice and honey. Works for me! Get your carbs from vegetables only! Of course you can cheat with a bowl of ice cream!
I use B-12, B complex, Magnesium and vitamin D3. If I could only use one I would choose B complex. It’s made the biggest difference in how I feel. More energy.
I suffered from bad nose bleeds, gushers. The D3/K2 is my top supplement. Not only helps with sleep, my immune system, it also helps my blood to clot. Have not had one since starting this supplement. Also the Doctor recommended Ponaris (not a supplement) which has helped with the dryness in my sinus's. X Lear when I am clogged.

Omega 3 fatty acids for cardiovascular and brain health

Liquid tumeric (Turmero-XL Active) I've tried several types for arthritic pain, but this is the only one that actually takes the pain away.

Liposomal D3.
Black Seed Oil & Magnesium Glycinate & Hawthorne Berry are my go to right now. Helping with blood pressure
If only one supplement, colostrum. Promotes healthy immune system, gut health. (Plus more). Take 4/day - 2 before breakfast. 2 before dinner.
