I have been doing intermittent fasting now for sometime. I only was eating meat and protein. With little weigh lost, Dr H suggested adding a little veg's and fruit to my diet. I now feel better (sleep, energy and handling stress) Truthfully, I was kind of surprised.

On the other topic...The CDC has recently changed the definition for "vaccination." Before the change, it read "the act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce "immunity" to a specific disease". Now, the word "immunity" has been switched to "protection."

Recently, I have had to wear a mask for long periods of time (hospitals, testings, surgeons offices) My breathing is short during and after for a couple of hours. There are times when I feel like I am going to faint. I have watched elderly people in these offices struggling for air... If the virus does not kill you, for some people I believe the masks will!

The CDC update was six months ago, and as expected got very little coverage from our beloved Ministry of Truth(mainstream media). Here is an update in a Newspeak dictionary that happened a couple months later…

According to an archived version of the dictionary's website, Merriam-Webster formerly said a "vaccine" was "a preparation of killed microorganisms, living attenuated organisms, or living fully virulent organisms that is administered to produce or artificially increase immunity to a particular disease."

The new definition of "vaccine", reads: "a preparation that is administered – as by injection – to stimulate the body's immune response against a specific infectious agent or disease."

I have been doing intermittent fasting for years now, but not for as many hours. Now it is 7-11. I do it about 90% of days. Sometime my schedule or dinner plans changes the times. I do find, as happened to me yesterday, if I am not drinking enough water, I can feel weak. Different days-body feels different. I like doing this fasting with no breakfast- routine now. One day might try adding more fasting hours. I am still a fruits and vegetable person, but trying to eat more fish. I do not eat any meat, pork, or turkey. Little chicken. I am not doing this to lose weight, because my weight is stable where it is, but over the years I have been doing this, I have lost weight. Just worry about not getting enough protein.

As for COVID, I don’t watch the news, so I didn’t even know about another strain. I just work on staying healthy, which can be time consuming. News, for me, makes me stressed—which no one needs added stress. Have a good weekend.

I would highly suggest adding/increasing egg intake if you don’t do any meats. I like to load up my omelets/frittatas with whatever veggies I have. Today it was asparagus, spinach, red pepper, zucchini and onion. To sweeten it up and boost the potassium, I sometimes add some banana and raisins. Also, since you have a relatively low protein diet, try to boost your health fat intake(wild salmon, walnuts, avocados, grassfed butter, ghee, olive oil, full fat yogurt

Here is a quick overview of good cooking fats. The only thing that I would add to this list, is that not only should vegetable oils not be used for cooking, but they should not be used at all. https://www.instagram.com/p/CbSR3GlOXUi/?utm_medium=copy_link

When it comes to fasting/low carb/keto, it’s important to keep hydration up as well as mineral balance. Here is a great video that explains.

I have no emotional space left for contemplating COVID. I just need to stay as healthy as possible and Dr.H convinced me that intermittent fasting and a lower carb diet was a means to that end. To me low carb means no processed foods and minimal amounts whole grains a couple of times a week. Protein, fruits and vegetable comprise my diet. I am not trying to lose weight so I eat three meals a day within an eight hour period each day. I do not feel hungry between meals. I feel better (though would not have said I did not feel well before!), sleep better and find that I react better to stress.

It’s amazing how easy intermittent fasting is once it becomes a habit.

This actually didn’t take much time or effort for it to become a habit. I feel fuller faster and am eating less and have lost a few pounds. Don’t want or need 3 meals a day. I’m a believer

Thank you again, we really appreciate your writing. When we started intermittent fasting, we failed a lot. How we became successful with it, we read a lot about it & tried many things people suggested. We narrowed it down to, cut out as much of the carbs as possible, using salt and inulin daily. Watching how much water you drink daily. Realizing you can always start over again tomorrow, as we have done many a times.

The benefits of intermittent fasting I see are,.... I'm still trying to find them. 😁😁 Just kidding, some days I still try to find out what they are. For the most part, I appreciate how focus I can become. On the other hand, the wife has appreciated the weight loss with eating less frequently. Not being as hungry often, as in the past.

I am still doing the intermittent fasting. I have been sticking to it since March 1st. I have lost weight. I did not start tracking my weight until March 9th (I purchased a scale that day)

I am also watching my carb intake. What helps me, is to prepare my meals ahead of time. I write down what I will be eating that day, and prepare those foods. I also have been exercising, my stomach has gone down, I can feel and see the difference. As far as Covid, I think that there is a new strong movement that has been created out there because of all the confusion and mislead information. A movement where our traditional medical system, hospitals, Insurance companies, government agencies etc are no longer respected and trusted. Big changes will soon be coming, if not already started.
