I am probably doing about a pound, maybe less, a day. I actually started seriously cutting carbs in April. I’ve been overweight since I was in middle school and have struggled ever since. I have lost 60 lbs. and my lab numbers are better than ever. I’d like to get another 40 off. My only cheats are occasional fruits and some nuts. But basically I’m sticking to steak, burgers, eggs, and cheese. I’m five weeks out from a hip replacement and can finally walk. I’m looking forward to moving again.
I think I eat a little more than a pound of meat and eggs per day. I usually have 2-3 eggs at breakfast; lunch is a hamburger (80/20) that begins at 1/2 lb, then cooks down; and then a slice or two of filet for dinner. I started the challenge a week late, but I am down 17lbs. I avoided cheese for the first two weeks, but now that is my cheat food. ;-)
Been animal based 4+ years. 5’9” 165 lbs male. Average two pounds meat per day and 2-2,200 calories consumed per day.
Mon-Fri (workweek): First meal one pound 85/15 ground beef with side of fruit 50g max carb. Second meal rotating one pound or more beef, lamb, fish with some kind of side such as Greek yogurt or kefir.
Weekends and days at home: First meal 4-5 soft boiled eggs, 8 beef sausage links, cup of dairy, espresso/coffee black, sometimes beef brisket bacon. Second meal one pound or more rotating beef, lamb, fish with some kind of side such as whole avocado or fruit.
Other: Depending on gym/activity level will take 30g high quality whey protein shake or Marigold protein bar or Paleovalley beef sticks to achieve protein goal of 1g per body weight. Use butter and Redmond’s pink salt generously and real EVOO liberally. Avoid seed oils and unnecessary sugar. Occasionally high quality pasture raised pork bacon. My “cheat foods” closely guarded, downplayed, and to each their own; evoking discipline with science seems to be the key with cheat foods which can be a slippery slope.
Thank you DrH, Dr. Shawn Baker, and the other brave medical professionals doing what they do and allowing the science to evolve and data speak for itself. Knowledge is power and not all of us can follow the same script and expect the same results. Stay healthy!

I probably eat about 1.5 to 2 lbs per day. I'm now 160 lbs, have lost about 40 lbs, and am 5'-6".
Probably clock in around 2-3 pounds a day, depending if OMAD or not. 6'3", 180 lbs, building lean mass.
Susanne I’m wondering if your weight loss has been since going Carnivore? Good job and so positive!
