recently read something about seed oils and that they can be harmful. so using butter, ghee etc. is fine. the article discussed vitamin e to combat the effects of seed oils. even after you stop using them. anything to this? this way of eating does require (for me anyway) cooking with oils or butters etc. So I been using other oils besides olive. I'm just butter after this, but curious on your thoughts. Thanks

What are your thoughts on allulose? I know it wouldn’t be good to make a meal out of and it’s best to avoid sweets/temptation/cravings but it seems like there are almost no downsides.

Oh I'm curious about coffee too and potential replacements. Mud Water? Also wanted to ask if having a cheat meal does anything "beneficial" for sustained keto lifestyle.

Coffee raises triglycerides (waiting to see the response to Paul’s question) and tea is high in oxalate which contributes to the formation of kidney stones. I like hot beverages in the winter. Are there herbal teas, those containing no actual tea leaves, that are relatively benign?

My husband and I have been on adventures of finding different foods for our wellness.

My husband does not due well with pork but was in the mood for sausage. We go to Bagliani's in Hammonton NJ for there four and five different homemade chicken and turkey sausage. There produce is very good, prices are good and there ingredients in there homemade sauces are great in a pinch for time! I will be making my sausage/cabbage/carrot/turnip soup tomorrow night!

Drinking coffee raises triglycerides in blood, but as I understand it, these “coffee”triglycerides do not appear to take the typical “pathway” (carb - blood glucose- triglyceride) into our fat cells. Am I thinking about this correctly?
