For those here that are very low carb in order to be in keto, do you have issues with sugar-free products? Specifically, does the perceived sweetness create an exaggerated insulin response that takes you out of keto? Digestive issues from these products is another story.☹️

I love chaffles!!! You can actually add a little almond flour and it gives it more of a bread consistency. Still keeping it low carb. Also make it a dessert by using swerve sweetener and cinnamon or spread sugar free jelly on it. My friend turned me onto them when she did a take on the Big Mac with chaffles. I just bought cut da carb wraps and I’m looking forward to using them this week!

Errand number 1 today was buy a waffle iron. My first attempt at a Chaffle was a success. 3 eggs work perfectly in the iron I bought. Added shredded cheddar cheese, cut up Turkey pepperoni and a little pepper. I’m sure the possibilities are endless.

We might have a Chaffle addiction epidemic soon! I’m sure our benevolent overlords at Big Pharma are working on a cure while the waffle irons are still hot.
