Also curious that the use of ivermectin in Sub-Saharan Africa as an anti parasitic is fairly pervasive and now it’s finally being recognized that ivermectin is effective against covid. 🤨

There's a few things missing. The African subcontinent population is much younger than other continents, so fewer people with comorbidities, and they have few nursing homes and congregate care for the elderly. They also have "ventilation" in terms of their homes and living areas. Their rates of autoimmune diseases are lower (parasites/worms?), which is a risk factor for many especially those using drugs that suppress immune system. They have less obesity. Finally, a lot of their deaths are at home and not in the hospital. There is no simple answer like ivermectin.

Melissa. You make really good points and they should absolutely be part of the discussion.

How do you feel about the difference between Japan and South Africa?

Yes, yes and yes. This deviation between 1st/3rd world was clear going back to 2020. Much younger, and obviously lower rates of obesity(which also explains “autoimmune” aka metabolic dysfunction). Also, much less incentivised lethal protocols. Hard to make money off of purposely killing poor people. If this really was the Black Death 2.0 as it was advertised, the poorer nations would have been absolutely decimated….

Oh, and side note concerning this piece. How on good earth are we starting year four of a “pandemic”, when we were never in one to start with…
