There is once again a whole lot going on in the world but I will stick to health.
COVID restrictions are easing but the powers that be do not seem to want to give up much of the new authority they grabbed 2 years ago.
I ask you.
“Are we still in a health emergency or crisis whereby your rights get taken away and we give more authority to politicians and bureaucrats who have never been on the frontlines of healthcare?”
COVID restrictions and mandates need to end now. Regardless of whether anything public health and government did over the past two years was helpful, COVID is now an endemic virus, meaning it will be with us circulating probably forever or until enough people have immunity to all the different strains.
There have been way too many secondary harmful issues that resulted from lockdowns, mandates and censorship.
So enough already.
Let’s get back to an open society with free civil speech and dialogue.
Don’t let your health focus be diverted to other world issues.
Without your health what do you have?
Without your freedoms what do you have?
As I always say, please do not believe everything you see, hear or read from the media or government. The stories are meant to sway or nudge you in their desired direction, just like advertising/propaganda. They are called stories for a reason. As usual, the stories are mostly fiction.
“‘Appeasement’ is the policy of feeding your friends to a crocodile, one at a time, in hopes that the crocodile will eat you last. – Franklin D. Roosevelt,”
Hmmm, putting less into your Gut can give it time to handle and process what is already there. What a concept!!
So, here is the #IMWChallenge March 2022 Week Two
Let's try an Intermittent Fast of between 17-18 hours of fasting and a 6-7 hour eating window in which to eat/drink your meals.
Ex:
My 6 hour eating window would start at 1PM and finish eating by 7PM
My 18 hour non-eating or fasting window is from 7PM until 1PM the following day.
If you feel up to it you can extend the fasting window.
If you feel up to it during the week, try for a 24 hour fast on the day of your choosing.
So who is up for the challenge?
Please leave any questions and comment below.
Also let me know how you did with the 1st week of 16:8
Was there something more or different we could have done to make the challenge more enjoyable or successful?
Good Tuesday afternoon. I started doing a 16/8 food management program (or your fasting program)over a year ago. The only interruption was over Christmas while I was away for two weeks. Eating alone helps to keep this possible. My weight has stabilized at this point but the more positive result has been no heartburn (no Tums) , better sleep and more energy.
I can do the 16:8 fairly well and consistently through the week. Once or twice a week I lengthen the fast or only eat one meal. I don’t really notice a difference in the way I feel fasting. I just know it’s better for me. I also feel hungry often. I am losing weight through fasting and a lower carb diet.
