Before I get to Sunday on Social let me first wish everyone a Happy Holiday if you observe.
Now let’s try something new.
I will call it Sunday on Social- Interesting stuff people say.
Yes you could call it an SOS.
The theme today is Thinking and Living.
My point is not that misinformation is good, but that misinformation is different from disinformation (or deliberately false information) and that the fight to get rid of misinformation is one that will lead to far worse consequences than the misinformation itself.
As I wrote, misinformation is the tax we all pay for the freedom to say what we think, and the freedom to have unfettered access to as much information as possible — to engage independently, with little to no limitation from gatekeepers.
Re-Engineer Your Life
1. Take 100% Responsibility.
End the excuses & complaints.
2. Spend time in Solitude- Read, Write, Lift, Meditate and Visualize.
3. End All Toxic Relationships.
4. Make Peace with your Past.
5. Set Clear Goals, Commit to them Work on them Consistently.
"Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me."
— Carol Burnett
"Be creative. Use unconventional thinking. And have the guts to carry it out"
- Lee Iaccoca
Take emotion out of it and think.
F.E.A.R. has two meanings:
Forget Everything And Run
or
Face Everything And Rise.
The choice is yours...everything you want is on the other side of fear
The most powerful response:
That doesn’t work for me.
The less you attack yourself, the less you will imagine yourself attacked by others.
I hope today you have the COURAGE to break the patterns in your life that no longer serve you.
I'm not against people taking any given medication or treatment they want or need... I'm against them being coerced or forced to.
It's a simple position.
What's weird is that everyone agreed with me a year or two ago...
Over thinking ruins you. Ruins your situation, twists things around, makes you worry and just makes everything much worse than it actually is.
Remember, there is nothing in this world that can trouble you as much as your own thoughts...your biggest enemy lives between your ears.
Maturity means understanding half the stuff you want to say doesn't need to be said.
And finally one from a favorite book I read, Ego is the Enemy.
“There is no one moment that changes a person. There are many.
What was your favorite SOS in this post?
Did any of them make you go Hmmmm…… ?
This one jumped out to me, not only for myself but for others I know - “The less you attack yourself, the less you will imagine yourself attacked by others.”
Is it a cop out to say all of them really spoke to me? Lol. Especially the ones about fear - I let fear and anxiety control me this past summer and messed up my health. Thank you for this thought-provoking post today! It is definitely one that will be reread many times.
