For those of you participating in the IMW Carnivore Challenge.
Have you by any chance started increasing your exercise/activity?
I ask because one thing I often hear is that when people go to a Carnivore lifestyle, which is much more than just a diet, usually within a few weeks their energy levels start increasing, their fatigue, aches and pains start decreasing. When this occurs they begin to feel like moving more.
Not sure whether they start to move more to make them feel better, or they feel better and start exercising.
So for all my fellow Challengees, a few questions.
1- Are you more active now during the Challenge than before? If so why? If not, why not?
This is kind of a chicken and egg thing so there are no wrong answers or wrong ways to approach this as long as your health and vitality are improving.
2- If you are not presently participating in the Carnivore challenge, but have lost weight and improved your health in other ways, do you feel you improved your health more with your change in diet or with exercise?
So let me know in the comments below.
I am not currently participating in the carnivore challenge. I have definitely improved my health through diet first. I intermittent fast at least 5 days a week and practice low carb and high protein eating. I would say that 70% of what I eat is meat. But when I do add exercise and stick with it I jump to the next level for sure. That’s my downfall is keeping the exercise consistent.
I've started moving more to get my mind off of food & to replace the pleasure I used to get from it. There are days when I'm hungrier and have had some lightheadedness... so I just relax and snack on some protein. I'm very grateful that a lot of my hip pain and knee pain is gone.
