Looks like Spring once again teased us with warm weather only to get cold and wet yet again. This happens every March. Maybe instead of playing with Daylight Savings Time we should instead move Spring until mid April when the temperatures finally warm up and stay up. Who is with me????
Since we are on the subject of warming up, how many of you who are both Low Carb and Intermittent Fasting feel warmer throughout the day or no longer feel cold?
It’s interesting to me at least that when you go low carb as well as use intermittent fasting that your metabolism actually speeds up usually resulting in more energy used which also warms the body. I think the body is just more energy efficient when low carb as well as when fasting. Just wait until we throw in more activity next month.....
Things seen on social media that make me go Hmmmm...
Car rental agreement says if I don't bring it back full, they'll charge $3.99/gallon
Gas here is $6/gallon

I'm not victim blaming, but if people had educated themselves none of the past two years could have taken place. They would not have had to rely on a "trusted source" who may not have had their best interest at heart. Not victim blaming, urging people to educate themselves.

If I wanted to make everyone dependent on money in exchange for compliance with my arbitrary decrees, I would shut down their businesses, create shortages, & give out stimulus checks to pay the high prices so the prices go higher & no one can afford anything w/o stimulus checks.

NY Times headline:
Trying to solve a mystery: Africa's low death rates. They can't understand how richer, vaxxed countries like the US have such high death rates compared to Africa. Uh, they really don't know the answer?

First off…I am ok.
I was robbed at the Chevron in Boise. After my hands stopped trembling I managed to call the Sheriff, they were quick to respond and calmed me down. My money is gone… the police asked me if I knew who did it. I said yes.. it was pump number 5.

Apologies in advance to my Vegetarian subscribers. But this is the Grass Fed rib eye I made Wednesday. I believe this was from Wild Fork in Cherry Hill. Great grill marks but the taste was better than the look. Outside great flavor, inside juicy and the perfect color. Resting the meat for 5 minutes after taking it off the grill brought out all those juices.
You can’t fake a good piece of meat grilled to perfection. Or can you?
Reminds me of a famous movie clip.
What is your favorite movie clip?
Back to health and wellness as that is kind of important.
Let me know how y’all are doing with the combo of low carb and intermittent fasting.
Let’s also get prepared for warmer weather which hopefully allows more outdoor activity for Aprils #IMWChallenge.

I agree with a mid-April start of daylight saving. But I believe that since daylight saving is so popular Congress will likely make it year round. I am not sure it is such a good idea because in winter the sun would rise very late in the morning resulting in less safety for children going to school. I understand that it started during Wold War II to save electricity but was not continued in winter after the war.

I have felt a sense of both cold and warm during fasting/low carb periods. I think it depends on the metabolic pathways. If it’s an excessive caloric deficit over a short period of time, I tend to feel cold. If it’s a more gradual modification, the sensation is warmth. It’s only a guess, but I believe this when the body has switched to predominantly fat burning.
-Here is looking at inflation in reverse. An unofficial personal survey has gasoline around $4.05/gal this week.
$1.08 in 1980 has the same purchasing power as $4.05 in 2022.
