MRHA - Make Restaurants Healthy Again
Most people enjoy eating a meal outside of their home. Whether the food tastes good in restaurants, being out and social, or just not having to cook and clean up, there are many reasons why eating out can be enjoyable.

But I ask, is eating out healthy?
If not can we come up with ideas as to how to Make Restaurants Healthy Again? I guess we could ask whether restaurants ever were healthy but let’s assume maybe in the past they were.
— Rack of ribs, sauce on the side, mashed not fried potatoes —
I just came back from a nice vacation. Rented an AirBNB in sunny warm Florida and just relaxed, soaked up sun, went in a pool, and just detoxed.
While we did go out to eat a few nights for dinner with friends and family, the rest of the time we ate at home. It’s probably one of the reasons we like getting a BNB when we travel.
— Scrambled eggs with some shrimp cocktail and cold potatoes (resistant starch) —
Usually the day we arrive we go food shopping and get our food for the week. Since it is a home, we stock the fridge and use the stovetop and ovens to prepare our meals. This way we have control of the food and ingredients we use for our meals. Since I enjoy cooking and preparing meals, I find it relaxing to do this. I don’t like cleaning up though….

So let’s get back to MRHA.
I enjoy going out to eat, but so often the quality of the food or the ingredients they use just don’t sit well with me. So I have to look closely at menus and ask questions before ordering.
— Prime Rib, mashed (not fried) potatoes on side —
So here are some questions I ask to try and order not just a tasty and enjoyable meal, but also a healthy one.
1- Can it be made gluten free?
2- Is the food prepared/cooked/fried with vegetable or seed oils?
3- Is the fish fresh or frozen?
4- Is the fish wild caught or farmed?
5- Do you cook in butter, ghee or margarine?
6- Can I skip the veggie and replace it with something else??
7- Is your meat grass or grain fed?
8- Are there hormones or antibiotics in the meat that you serve?
9- Do you use Organic ingredients?
10- Do you use GMO food?
11- Do you source your ingredients locally?
What else can I do/ask to MRHA?

Since I can't see a way to upload an image, I will write out the words of wisdom I saw on Instargam that I think this crowd will enjoy.
If you boil a funny bone, it becomes a laughing stock... that's humerus!
In a restaurant or supermarket Is your meat cut right from the farm animal? Is it cut, frozen or micro-zapped before serving of packaged?
