Ever have one of those days?
Not a bad day, but a day when your creativity is just not up to par.
When those days occur my response is to start reading whatever I can get my hands on and see where my head takes me. Then you get to see as it ends up on this substack blog, Common Sense Health and Wellness.
I think you all know by now how I feel about meat alternatives or fake meat.
Fake meat sales have been decreasing this past year why other real meats are increasing in sales. I never understood why people who do not like to eat meat would want to eat a fake meat that is industrially processed to try and taste like real meat??
If anyone has an answer please let me know in the comments.
Another great pictogram from @biohackhub of Instagram fame. This time on my favorite topic, cholesterol. Take a look at the above pic to see all of the beneficial aspects of cholesterol in the body. If we ever get rid of the GovernPharma collusion we would learn and be allowed to discuss how the cholesterol lowering policy of traditional healthcare has not really worked and has caused harm in many. But first we have to get past the GovernPharma COVID collusion….
Regardless of where your feelings lie with regard to COVID, I hope we all learned how Big Tech, Big Media, Big Corporations, Big Pharma, Big Hospitals and Big Government have used manipulation and fear tactics to get us to behave in a certain way. It’s almost like they are making us willingly “bend the knee” by using fear tactics.
My question: How long will we continue to allow this to occur?
Anyone ever made egg salad but instead of using mayo used cottage cheese?
I tried this yesterday and it was very good. Less oily but otherwise almost the same. I used 1 tablespoon of cottage cheese per one egg in the mix and added the normal celery and onion and spices.
Using cottage cheese as opposed to mayo ups the protein and drops the fat a bit. So if you are watching your fat as well as your carbs, this is a good hack to try.

By now I hope you have seen how a Lower Carb nutrition plan provides more benefits other than weight loss. In the same way I hope you will see how fasting also provides many more benefits than just weight loss. Also fasting added to lower carb nutrition is a great one-two punch.
I did not know that fasting reduces anxiety. I am going to have to research this one a bit more as I like to understand the proposed mechanisms.
