As I have said many many times before, I do a whole bunch of reading.
Do I believe everything I read?
Umm, No way Jose!
But I like to be exposed to what others are thinking and writing. That is how I expand my knowledge base. So I thought I might use some Wednesdays to share some of what I read that I found interesting in respect to Common Sense Health and Wellness.
Cochrane Review is known to use trusted evidence to help keep you better informed. This allows you to hopefully make better health decisions. They have been trusted for a long time for their non-biased straight science and data approach.
Butt, there is always a butt…..
I encourage you to read this substack from Mary Ann Demasi on Masks in which she interviewed a scientist who wrote a review on masking, and he did not hold back.
There was a Low Carb conference in Boca Raton Florida last month. While I enjoy Low Carb conferences I can not make it to all of them. The conference put on YouTube one of their lectures by Dr. Eades, who wrote a few decades ago “Protein Power”, that was one of my entries into the Low Carb Community.
Dr. Eades presented a lecture about weight loss which is linked below.
Now I am disappointed I did not attend.
To me it was very thought provoking and kind of blasted the Calories In-Calories out mantra of traditional healthcare. Hopefully Low Carb Boca continues to share other presentations from their recent conference.
I guess I have to rethink about not attending next conference…..
Facebook colluded with the CDC to censor opposing viewpoints.
Not surprising but it is now out in the open. But do enough people care enough to be bothered by free speech rights, especially as it relates to science, debate and discourse, especially as it relates to government bureaucrats telling you what you can and can’t do with your bodily autonomy.
A bit ago I linked to a graphic about Tuft’s University trying to tell us Cheerios and Fruit Loops are healthier than eggs or beef. Well here is another read worthy substack that continues this discussion and further points out the apparent bias as well as how it is being used to steer everyone towards a certain world food nutrition system.
Hey who needs individual thought when we have the food police telling us what to eat.
As always comments and civil discourse welcome.
If you enjoyed todays format please let me know in the comments below.
“ Not surprising but it is now out in the open. But do enough people care enough to be bothered by free speech rights, especially as it relates to science, debate and discourse, especially as it relates to government bureaucrats telling you what you can and can’t do….?”
Unfortunately, the answer to that question is NO.
