The Game is to guess what I am after giving a description.
Only clue is that it does indeed have much to do about Common Sense Health and Wellness
Here goes.
#1 These are ingredients and mechanisms for how I am produced. What am I?
Pulp: Derived from wood fibers (cellulose) treated with chemicals like sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) and sodium sulfide to break down lignin.
Bleaching Agents: Chlorine dioxide, hydrogen peroxide, or oxygen to whiten the pulp.
Binders/Coatings: Food-grade waxes, starches, or biodegradable polymers (e.g., PLA) to enhance water resistance.
Dyes: Food-safe dyes for coloring.
May involve additional trace chemicals depending on manufacturing processes, but these are the primary ones.
#2 These are ingredients and mechanisms for how I am produced. What am I?
Polypropylene (PP) or Polyethylene (PE): Main polymers derived from petroleum-based ethylene or propylene.
Plasticizers: Chemicals like phthalates (less common in food-grade plastics) to increase flexibility.
Stabilizers: Additives like UV stabilizers or antioxidants to improve durability.
Colorants: Pigments or dyes for aesthetic purposes.
May involve additional trace chemicals depending on manufacturing processes, but these are the primary ones.
HINTS:
Both of the above are in high amounts in our food system.
Both of the above have been debated about over the past 4+ years and has made the news recently as well.
Let me know what you think both #1 and #2 are in the comments below.

OK
Some good guesses and some not so good guesses. But it’s great to see how people think.
The answers.
#1 Paper straws
#2 Plastic straws
If you look at the ingredients neither look so wonderful. Maybe stainless steel straws would be better. Or, you can drink like your ancestors evolved, right from the drinking cup, as long as the cup was non toxic.
