It would be hard to get a food prep person conscientious enough to remove ALL of the seed from a tomato. Few can be trusted to properly do this task;, I'll try to whistle whilst I work and do it mice elf.

Great article, Doc! 2 points I'd like to add from Dr. Westman from Adapt Your Life (he really helped guide me when I first was going keto a decade ago). He makes the point that we aren't what we eat, but what we burn. I would add to that that we are what we eat, and what we are is a giant bag of protein and fat! As you have said, I cant sit in dirt and get rain been on and survive 😉😂

Secondly, he has discussed on several occasions that he met one of the preeminent researchers on fiber at a conference (I cant remember her name) and that she made the point that "insoluble fiber" actually CAN be absorbed and cause a metabolic reaction, making the whole net carbs idea even more murky!

"Home Made Tomato sauce" How did you make the sauce? Did you take the seeds out of the tomatoes ?

In the neat color graphic, why was an egg chosen as the symbol for the “FAT” column? One egg contains about 4.5 grams of fat and eggs are not usually considered an especially “fatty food". I would have thought that a chunk of cheese could have been a better symbol.

To use the carnivore diet as an elimination diet, I've cut out all carbs and am just eating meat, eggs, salt and pepper. When I added onions and a bit of parm cheese and Italian spices, I had the runs for a day. Now learned to add only one item at a time... Hope I can keep the onions!
