Dr. H, with all due respect, aren't we drawing a slightly skewed comparison to wild carnivores? Lions feasting on a zebra aren't exactly picking and choosing a single ingredient, are they? They're going for the whole shebang – heart, liver, muscle, skin, even the bones! That's a far cry from a single ingredient diet. In fact, I'm struggling to think of any wild animal that religiously sticks to just one thing. Dolphins don't just eat fish filets, do they? It's the whole package – bones, brains, guts, and eyes. Is that the dietary experience you're aiming for? Just clarifying! 😉

I’m currently already eating this way, so I’m curious to hear some details about the benefits.

Generally I eat eggs for my first meal around 11 am and then meat (no sides) for dinner around 5-6 pm.

Okay, so I’ve pretty much been doing this, but since the holidays, I’ve kind of fallen off the wagon a bit and need a good push to get myself back on. Some support would be very helpful. I haven’t gained any weight but I haven’t lost any either. I have noticed that the less foods I stack, the better I feel and definitely have less inflammation. So yes, I’m in.

I’m going to give this a try. I’m currently on the 75/25 program. The 6 hour window is my concern for convenience but I’ll give it a shot.

I may be interested. Reminds me a lot of a protocol i followed once from a woman named Natalia Rose (https://a.co/d/41jQBQh). She is more on the plant based side, but her concepts apply to all diets. Long and short, its focused on digestion and what works together. You can essentially eat most anything (within reason) but should only consume certain foods at the same time. For example You can eat a steak and a potato but not at the same time. Doing so would change digestion from 1-2 hrs to double or more just by combining the two. Anyway, interesting concept. Looking forward to hearing more.
