I like to prepare for challenging things in life. So this is how I am preparing for the IMW 2024 Carnivore End of Summer Challenge that begins Wednesday September 4, 2024

Cast Iron pans
Stainless Steel Pan
Instant Pot pressure cooker
Outdoor Grill
Knives to cut carnivore food.
Oven
Fridge will contain:
Beef Tallow
Ghee
Butter
Salt- many different types
Eggs
Ground beef
Water
Unsweetened brewed tea
Freezer will contain an assortment that could include any of the following depending upon when I last went shopping:
Rib eyes
Filets
Lamb Chops
Shrimp
Trout
Swordfish
Chicken wings
Chicken thighs
Whole chicken for roasting
Pantry will contain:
Tuna - canned
Sardines - canned
Salmon -canned
Avocado oil Mayo - not truly Carnivore but definitely keto and will be used sparingly
Magnesium supps if bowels lock up.
Body bio electrolytes
In order to be successful at something we need to know what our possible/probable trouble areas would be.
I will be trying to avoid processed carnivore food such as beef sticks, jerky etc but I guess I will see what happens.
I will also do my best to avoid my cheese addiction.
What will be in your fridge, freezer and pantry?
What are your fav foods that you will be avoiding?
During the Challenge I will be using this Substack app to post updates, pics, strategy etc. I would like to make this interactive so if you have not already downloaded the Substack app, please do so to get the most out of this Challenge.
I am going to go the Ken Berry route and try ground beef, butter, bacon, and eggs as the basis for my carnivore challenge. I've done it before with good results, and with quality ground beef it is hardly a struggle.
I thought cheese was allowed in carnivore?
