I’m just sad about the lack of reliable information and the difficulty finding what little reliable info there was throughout the entire course of COVID. It scares me to think this is the world we now live in and what it means for our children and grandchildren. I dread even having a civil conversation about this as you are attempting to do Dr. Steven, because so many people think there’s only one way to think. I was so happy to find you and listen to a reasonable person that helps us discern what it means for each of us. Thank you!!!

As a nurse I’m not happy about how COVID was handled. We all showed up for work regardless of the unknown danger. Then after being exposed we are forced to take a vaccine or lose our job. Now NJ is lifting all the mandates for everyone but health care workers. Everyone in my unit has had COVID but still we wear masks and probably will continue to have to get boosted. They didn’t even let healthy mothers come into the NICU on a regular basis, even if breastfeeding.

After a few weeks from my CRT surgery in March 2022. I got COVID and then a few days later I got the norovirus on top of that. I was pretty sick. I was very fortunate to have a "PCP" that kept me from going back to the hospital. Wisdom is knowing the difference between right and what we have been TOLD is right.

My husband died of COVID while in a memory care facility. As the first writer mentioned the only good thing that came out of COVID was illuminating the flaws in the system.

1. Our #AcuteCare system does a good job for first-responder & military #trauma, as designed. But when #AcuteCare methodologies are applied to #ChronicCare they fail abysmally.

2. I attribute the leading cause of #EarlyDeath to #MedicalMalpractice. (Please don't take umbrage or offense, as you noted most #MedicalPractitioners ≠ #Doctors). Yes, I believe that most of these early deaths from heart disease, cancer and pulmonary illness are preventable; and the ever rising epidemics in #obesity #diabetes #CVD point an accusatory finger at our #HealthScare (#Faucism) system.

3. Thank you for your continued pursuit of unvarnished truth in the #Hippocratic tradition.

The only good thing that came out of this mess was it pulled the cover off a lot that was really going on that the general population didn't see. Outside of that the way it was handled was and still is a disaster. Scaring people, lying about effectiveness of NPIs, guilting people into compliance, ignoring the side effects of lockdowns, masks etc. The fact that it is still going on and people's minds have been completely broken is very scary.

Everything done was to benefit the government and reduce our individual liberties. The exact opposite of what this country was founded on. We revolted because of taxes and just hired 87k more IRS agents? Really?

Unfortunately those in elected office (both parties) do not seem to remember that this is supposed to gov of the people, by the people, for the people. At this point it is the opposite and with the amount of power the government has slowly acquired right in front of our faces I don't see many paths to returning it to a gov of, by and for the people. Just try stepping out of line and see what happens......

Not good
