Something to think about while I am away from the office.
Lookie Lookie here.
What are the major risk factors for Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) in Women?
Looks like having Diabetes gives you a greater than 10X risk, or 1000%
Metabolic Syndrome 6X or 600%,.
Hypertension 4.5X or 450%.
Obesity >4X or >400%
Inulin Resistance >6X or >600%
Elevated Triglycerides >2X or >200%
What do ALL OF THE ABOVE that I highlighted have in common?
They are NOT separate and distinct health issues.
Nope.
They are ALL a metabolic system issue and the major contributor to ALL of these issues are chronic overabundance of dietary carbohydrates that overwhelm your body’s normal ability to stay in a healthy balance.
One more thing.
LDL cholesterol, you know what that is right? It’s that evil evil substance that the traditional medical establishment goaded on by Big Pharma wants to reduce as much as possible by selling you their synthetic pharmaceutical cocktails. Well the evil elevated LDL cholesterol only increases your risk 38%.
So if you want to lower your risk of coronary heart disease, what do you think gives you the best chance?
Taking a medication to reduce your LDL?
or
Learning how to fix your metabolic system thru natural means?
While I am known as being just a tad sarcastic at times, I just want to say how much I appreciate all the subscribers to my Substack, Common Sense Health and Wellness, especially the paid ones! Your support is so greatly appreciated.

Sometimes, even the unelected alphabet agencies provide plausible data….
“ Diabetes has entered the top 10 causes of death, following a significant percentage increase of 70% since 2000. Diabetes is also responsible for the largest rise in male deaths among the top 10, with an 80% increase since 2000.”
**Make sure to see the charts broken down by income. Metabolic issues have a definite 1st world bias…Another symptom of ‘Affluenza”….
At the lowest income level, diabetes doesn’t make the list. Excess calories, whether in the form of carbohydrates or otherwise is not an issue. As you move up the economic ladder, metabolic issues become more prevalent, until you reach the highest income. Here there is a slight drop off, as there is better access to fresh foods. This help to show the damage that cheap processed foods cause.
