Ok, if we are going to want to keep a healthy gut biome nice and fed, we are going to need some starch and fibre sometimes. Again, let’s not oversimplify things with a generic statement, that all carbohydrates are bad.

I seriously doubt that the traditional healthcare system sincerely believes in stuff like SIBO or leaky gut, they probably just realized they've been losing patients and profits to functional medicine doctors so they'd better get on board with it too. Traditional healthcare still thinks SSRIs and PPIs and the food pyramid are the answer, they're not about to start being helpful in matters of the gut lol

I am looking forward to these tests and explanation of why my weight will not go down. I did a 7 day fast and gained 2 pounds? Daily I intermittent fast. Look forward to a visit after the Holidays and have a wonderful time with your family!
