YAY for Penn State! That is the reason my son chose to go there last year over Rutgers, Delaware & Drexel, which all required. He did have to weekly Covid test though even after proving he already recovered from Covid and already had the antibodies. They still made him test, and I emailed the Covid Director weekly asking her to explain it to me. She couldn't - just said they were following guidelines for a safe re-open. Well that is NOT science. It made me so angry, but they dropped masks and testing last Spring and they tried bringing back masks in summer - it only lasted 2 days then they dropped it again. My son just got back there now and I'm happy to report after 3 days of classes, ALL IS NORMAL AS IT SHOULD BE FINALLY!!! We would choose PSU again, to show our money vote counts. There was no reason to mandate this!!
Unfortunately I was paraphrasing a quote from a blood relative from back in March of 2020. These past couple years have taken a number on my concept of what constitutes family 😅
Got a few years till we need a make a decision here, but nice to know we can slim down the choices out of the gate. I'd love to know what risk/reward calculation the decision makers at these schools are using.
I'd love to think they were doing risk/reward analysis, but I don't think that's happening yet... they are just following the money and letting the government do this overreach because their hands are tied to the school accepting money.
The university where I work ... it was a "business decision not a medical decision" to mandate vaccines. Thank goodness exemptions were permitted. For this and many other reasons my child is not taking advantage of the opportunity for "free tuition" where I work and has chosen to take out loans to attend a school more inline with our values.
Go South!

Literally taken out of the SPARS document
But government loves us they would never go into trillions upon trillions of dollars of debt just to dupe and control us 😭
I like your style!
Likewise

Agree completely
These mandates will disappear once the enrollment drops and the money stops coming in.
Enrolments have already dropped considerably. Watch for these ponzi uni/colleges to start asking for gov bailouts soon….
This is great information. Will there be update to this spreadsheet or nothing after this.
Looks like whoever put this together keeps it updated.
