I do not believe that substance X should be limited in my diet. I also do not think that it should be feared or controlled by the government. Even though you did not ask what we believe substance X is I believe that it's protein.

I do not believe GPT's should be regulated by the government but at some-point may need some oversight as AI models can easily be made to be bias (think, Google Gemini and its answers to who the country's forefathers were ;). The short answer on would follow the data as a guide? yes, with a caveat . The long answer (the caveat) is that you have to be careful with using GPT's that are not somewhat grounded (trained) on the topic, or told what role to play in the discussion. Without getting into nuances of why, the easiest way to explain is that AI always wants to give you an answer and at times will do anything including leaving things out or slanting the data to do it. To limit GPT's ability to embellish you should feed it data it about the topics your are inquiring about so that it can learn, but be careful not to guide it. IE - be diligent in your prompt and tell it who it should act as while answering (ie. functional doctor or as someone in the FDA ;)) - for those that want the long answer, a digestible article can be read here (https://www.singlestore.com/blog/a-guide-to-retrieval-augmented-generation-rag/)

I asked an AI to tell me the benefits of moderate consumption of a common beverage, let's call it Beverage Y.

Here are the benefits of consuming Beverage Y:

-Social Lubricant: Beverage Y can reduce social anxiety and inhibitions, making social interactions easier and potentially more enjoyable.

-Stress Reduction: In small amounts, Beverage Y can have a calming effect, helping to alleviate stress and promote relaxation.

-Cardiovascular Benefits (in some studies): Some research suggests that moderate consumption of certain types of Beverage Y may be associated with a reduced risk of heart disease in specific populations. This might be linked to increased HDL ("good") cholesterol or improved blood vessel function.

-Increased Appetite: Beverage Y can stimulate appetite, which may be beneficial for individuals who struggle to eat enough.

-Pain Relief: Beverage Y has analgesic properties and can temporarily reduce the perception of pain.

-Improved Mood: Many people report feeling happier and more euphoric after consuming Beverage Y.

-Cultural and Traditional Significance: Beverage Y plays a significant role in many cultures and traditions around the world, often used in celebrations and rituals.

After reading these benefits, do you believe Beverage Y should be limited in our diet?

Do you believe Beverage Y should be feared?

Do you believe Beverage Y should be regulated by government or industry as to how much or little we should consume?
