We are nearing the end of 2021, a year many of us would like to put in our rear view mirror.
Today is Thanksgiving.
Hopefully everyone can spend time with their friends and family and remember that there is a world where COVID is not front and center.
We all have the ability to put friends, family and freedoms back into our lives when we decide to.
No one person, politician or government agency owns the truth.
It is not up to government, politics, Big Pharma, bureaucrats, or media to tell us how to live our lives safely. That is up to each and every one of us to make that decision as we do with all other aspects of our lives.
Protect your individual freedoms while at the same time respect others for theirs.
Let’s use this time to heal the wounds/losses created by the worlds and our government response to COVID.
Let’s end the division.
We are not Congress. Do not take their lead in how to behave with respect to others.
We can actually get along if we choose to.
We can agree to disagree and still be friends, colleagues, neighbors, brothers and sisters.
So enjoy your Thanksgiving and the future holidays coming up soon after.
Let’s make 2022 an end to divisiveness and the return of civility and friendships!
From your lips ... as the saying goes ... your message is heartfelt and appreciated.
But ... maybe you could write about how we can bridge those family gaps that COVID and the government has created with the mandates. How do we reason with shunning and bridge that gap? When siblings say an unequivocal no to a relationship unless you're vaccinated, what are the words to fix it? Hoping you have a perspective on that subject because you are astute and wise beyond your years ... thank you for all that you do!
