It seems like the more food pics and recipes I put on this stack, the more I am asked to add. I guess it is helpful to show how to enjoy a delicious #LowCarb #Keto diet/lifestyle in pictures. It’s really not difficult. It just takes a bit of creativity. Don’t sell yourself short. You are more creative than you think, perhaps you just need a spark. So maybe I can provide one.
The other day I showed this pic.
Organic GrassFed beef sautéed with garlic oil, onions and peppers topped with homemade tomato sauce and organic shredded mozzarella cheese. It’s even better than it sounds and looks. But I always make extra so leftovers are truly a real thing.
So what’s my favorite thing to do with leftovers of meat?
Nothin better than to mix it with eggs!
It’s pretty simple so here is how I do it.
First the ingredients.
5 Organic eggs mixed with a small amount of organic milk
Shredded Mozzarella cheese- preferably Organic if available
5 heaping tablespoons of the leftover meat (1 tablespoon for each egg)
Steps are pretty simple.
1- Heat a non-stick pan and then add the meat to heat up.
2- Add the 5 eggs/milk mixture into the pan with the meat.
3- Mix around occasionally as it cooks. When partially heated thru add some of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Slowly stir as you would scrambled eggs so the meat, egg and cheese mixes well. Then lower heat to low and lightly stir to get the eggs to your desired consistency.
Here is how mine looked.
5 eggs with the meat was about 2 servings.
Yes it was #Delicious #Keto #Carnivore
So as you can see, it is not to difficult to eat healthy, low carb and delicious. It also took all of about 7-8 minutes from start to finish.
If, wait, I mean when you try this for yourself, or any variation, let us all know in the comments below.
Looks like a great way to start the day! Cabot makes a nice cheese, however, it is not organic.
Nothing wrong with organic of course, however the animals are still being fed a grain diet. Better to look for grassfed/pastured eggs, meat, dairy(cheese, butter, yoghurt). Good way to boost your ω-3 intake.
I appreciate all of the food tips but would like to get back to more medical related advice.
