Questions for y’all.
Hint: The answer, XX, is the same to all the following questions.
Do you know what XX is?
XX has a higher risk of All Cause mortality (death).
XX has an increased risk of death from heart disease.
XX has an increased risk of death from stroke.
XX decreases the protective effects on vascular inflammation and stroke.
XX decreases the production and transport of hormones.
XX is related to cancer, injury, suicide, depression, liver disease, and chronic kidney disease, atrial fibrillation and heart failure.
XX decreases resistance to oxidative stress.
XX interferes with the binding of bacterial toxins which increases risk of infections.
There is some genetic data that shows an association with increased liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, endometrial cancer, Parkinson’s disease, depression, hemorrhagic stroke, diabetes, and dementia with XX.
So what is XX?
Let me know in the comments what you think XX is.
I’ll put the answer in the comments at some point soon but would love to see the discussion get started first.
I will also put some pics and charts in the IMW Chatroom later about XX so if you do not yet have the Substack app, you can download now.
Our next IMW Zoom meeting for all paid subscribers will most likely be EITHER Oct 17th, 18th, 24th or 25th, most likely at 7PM and will last one hour. Exact date and topic to be determined soon. If you would like to participate, please consider becoming a paid subscriber. Paid subscriptions ALSO get you 25% discount off of all Fullscript nutritional supplement purchases thru the IMW.
OK.
I guess I made everyone wait the required 24 hours before announcing the answer to:
What is XX?
But first, an award, no real value, but an award none the less to the best response, which did make me cackle, goes to Laura, with her answer: "Living with a teenager".
But to be real for just a moment, the answers given were great. They were not the answers to the question, but each answer was probably at a minimum partially correct. It is great to have such well seasoned readers of Common Sense Health and Wellness who seem to understand the concept of critical independent thinking when it comes to their health.
The closest to the correct answer was CandyC with "imbalanced lipid panel". If Candy was more specific she might have won the prize.
The answer to What is XX?
Low Total Cholesterol
You can read that again.
I said "LOW" total cholesterol.
If I may ask, please take a minute and go back and re-read the post, and before/after each health issue/statement, insert the words "Low Total Cholesterol" and wrap your head around that. Or perhaps let that sink in............
At some point today I will hopefully put a few graphs/pics into the Substack IMW Chatroom so you can see what I am seeing, but many in the traditional healthcare world are either ignoring or not seeing.
Perhaps this can also be a topic for our upcoming Zoom meeting for paid subscribers???
Perhaps.....
