I don’t know what is happening but lately my blog on this Substack platform, Common Sense Health and Wellness, has been increasing subscribers more than ever before.
I am happy but also find it funny as I do not consider myself a writer. But I do have fun getting my thoughts down here while hopefully helping you get some more common sense in your health and wellness.
I started Common Sense Health and Wellness as I was kind of fed up with all the traditional healthcare propaganda being put out to read in major publications. I’ve learned to trust more my own instincts than any writer regardless of their credentials. I guess I use the adage trust but verify. But once I no longer trust a writer or any person, it is hard for me to believe what they say after.
Should we believe Google Health or Malcolm Kendrick?
I hope all my readers understand that while a good part of what I write is meant to be fun and usually sarcastic, there is usually always a point or two I am trying to get across to make you think. I know, many of you may not want to think so much. But honestly, if you don’t think about your own unique health and wellness, you have an increased risk of being led astray.
So another thank you to everyone who has been a long time subscriber as well as to all my new subscribers.
Now for the pitch.
I think just about every post I publish is available to all subscribers, whether free or paid. So you do not need to be a paid subscriber to read my thoughts here on Common Sense Health and Wellness.
But, and there are always butts, paid subscribers do get a few added benefits.
1- You get my unwavering respect as you know you subscribed to a great health and wellness newsletter.
2- All paid subscribers get invited to the monthly IMW Group Wellness Zoom. These zooms are fun, interactive and hopefully get you thinking of new ways to improve your health. They last about 60-90 minutes dependent on the topic, the questions and the back and forth banter. The Wellness Zooms are NOT a lecture format. It is just me presenting slides, pics and memes on different wellness topics with questions and comments throughout, so you don’t have time to forget what you were going to ask.
3- All paid subscribers also can get a 25% discount on all nutritional supplements thru the IMW Fullscript online dispensary. This savings alone pays for more than the paid subscription.
Now for the high high cost ((sarcasm)) of a paid subscription to Common Sense Health and Wellness.
Drum roll please.
A paid subscription to Common Sense Health and Wellness is either $5/month or $50/year.
If you are not already a paid subscriber, I hope you will consider it. If you know someone who might like Common Sense Health and Wellness, please feel free to share this post.
Comments and questions always welcome.
