I hope everyone, especially all the Dad’s out there had a nice weekend!
The weather was sunny, skies mostly blue. Could have been a bit better if the winds were lighter but maybe I’ll take up flying kites.
While COVID continues to devolve into an endemic virus, with more infections but thankfully much much less deadly, I still get questions as to what if any precautions to take to avoid catching COVID. I will refrain from making this a question on COVID vaccinations other than the following pic I urge you to read and think about next time you get shown government/media statistics on COVID, especially when they mention the difference between COVID in the vaccinated vs the un-vaccinated.
The one that just utterly irks me, yes I used the phrase utterly irks me, is how they group people who have been vaccinated once, twice, three or four times into the un-vaccinated category IF THEY ARE NOT MORE THAN 14-21 DAYS FROM THEIR LAST VACCINE DOSE. This means that if you were vaxxed or boosted and get COVID within 14-21 days of the jab for government statistics you get put in the un-vaccinated group. This is the ILLOGIC that is going on in respect to COVID fear mongering, pressure and coercion.
One more thing.
The FDA has decided to authorize COVID vaccines for children under the age of 5.
In the spirit of full informed consent I would urge you to look at all sides of an issue before deciding upon what to do. By now you have seen or heard from the FDA and other public health authorities why to give the vaccine to young children.
Here is a 4 minute video with details on the vaccine trial that the FDA used to authorize the vaccine. Watch it for yourself before you decide.
As always you should get to decide what to do for your health WITHOUT fear, pressure, coercion or mandates. Parents - it is you who decide how to raise and protect your children.
The choice is yours.
Now back to the weekend roundup and how to avoid COVID.
In the warm weather months get outside as much as possible. It’s tougher to catch a cold weather seasonal respiratory virus when you are spending time outside. So yesterday I took the family outside.
Yes we were at a beach town, didn’t spend time on the beach other than to take some pics though. Anyone know what beach this is from the pic?
Outdoors.
Sunshine.
Fresh Air.
7-8 miles of walking throughout the day.
This is how you avoid contracting COVID.
Oh yeah.
A nice meal as well.
Sometimes it’s difficult to eat “healthy” when out. So I look for things on the menu that are real food and that I would eat at home as well.
This was a Whole Jersey Tomato stuffed with shrimp salad on a bed of rabbit food, um I mean greens. I ate the whole tomato and all the shrimp salad. I left the greens. Now how could I have improved this meal? Probably by using Avocado Oil mayo in the shrimp salad instead of what the restaurant uses which is most likely inflammatory high Omega 6 soybean oil. But when out beggars can’t be choosers and don’t let trying to be perfect ruin your day. The shrimp salad was good but could have used some more salt, pepper and dill. I don’t know why but lately I have been into dill…
Prior to getting to the beach we hit another outdoor activity. I’ll show some pics below and can anyone tell me where we were?
Can anyone guess?
Anyone?
Anyone?
Bueller?
Bueller??
You can all guess in the comments section.
So to sum up this post, what did I do that was fun while avoiding COVID at the same time?
1- Spent time with my family
2- Spent time outdoors in fresh ocean air
3- Ate real (not fake inflammatory) food at a restaurant with an outdoor table
4- Walked 7+ miles
5- Hopefully made a whole bunch of natural Vitamin D
6- Must have balanced my sleep hormones as I slept great that night and woke up very refreshed.
Wellness is not just about diet.
Slowing down aging is more than just how you eat and sleep.
I will be diving deeper into anti-aging and slowing down the aging process soon so stay tuned.
But for now let me leave you with another dog pic that says it all.

Thank you for sharing the Hart video with your readers. If more parents could access these facts, their children would benefit from their parents’ informed consent rather than FDA’s misrepresentation.
Cape May! Others beat me to it, though! :) Yay for the beach and grounding and fresh air!
