I would avoid drowning your old meds down the toilet as I don’t know how well the water department is able to clean/filter out all that’s given the indoor burial at sea.
Not that we need a reminder of how little integrity and trust is left with the deathcare industry(Not that they had much to start with), but here you go.

But with the way that the government loves to play keepaway with select prescription drugs, and especially given their behavior over these past few years, why on earth would we ever willingly give them the leftovers that we already paid for and that'll probably still be safe to take for a long time to come as long just as they're stored properly and of course, securely.
