Sooo…..
My favorite topic yet again.
When you are a Root Cause doc trying to figure out what truly does cause disease and does not cause disease, it can get confusing. Not because the material is difficult. It actually is not difficult.
What is difficult at times is seeing thru the healthcare propaganda that is making the world a sicker place.
So what do I do different at the Institute for Medical Wellness?
Well, I believe I am curious. I like to know the hows, whys, where’s and when’s of what makes things work the way they do, especially in the human body. This can be making something that truly works well, or figuring out why something does not work well. In science understanding why something does NOT work is as important as why it does work.
Did I lose you?
Hope not.
So now that the introduction is over, my favorite topic.
Cholesterol and Disease
We have been told for decades that cholesterol is harmful and should be lowered as much as possible.
Even after I discuss with someone in my office about how I believe this is incorrect, when we review labs, when a cholesterol marker is high I still see the fear in their eyes. Just proves we have all been programmed by our healthcare system.
Problem is the healthcare system is wrong on cholesterol.
So I will now show some more pics/memes to further my point and hope you develop a newer understanding of cholesterol and what it does for us.
But first another quick question.
Throughout evolution, do you think the human body would evolve to produce a substance, cholesterol, that would harm it?
Does that make sense? If it does not make sense then the next question would be,
What does cholesterol do in our body?
Well let’s see what others have said/written.
Doesn’t sound so bad now does it?
Wait. Did that say higher LDL, known in the mainstream as the “bad” cholesterol had no correlation with artery plaque that leads to blockages? Umm, yea it did.
That one is funny. Even though I do not believe cholesterol causes heart disease, I do believe cholesterol is very worthy of testing and following as it gives me information on metabolism, inflammation and other health issues that are not part of todays post.
Dr. Kendrick is part of the #LDLSkeptics and has written a few well researched books on the causes of heart disease. His latest book, “The Clot Thickens” goes into more detail and is an easy read even if you are not a healthcare professional. Just beware as his writing style is probably more sarcastic than mine…..
Hey, to all Men reading this. Did you know that your Testosterone is produced from cholesterol? What do ya think could happen if your cholesterol levels are low or being artificially lowered?
Woah!!! Is Camus saying that lowering cholesterol via statin drugs can lead to dementia? I guess you should ask him.
Wait again. So not eating anything raises LDL cholesterol? Yeppers!
Since we are discussing brain health…..
Lower LDL cholesterol, yes it said “lower” LDL cholesterol was associated with a HIGHER risk of a hemorrhagic stroke. That’s a stroke from bleeding in your brain.
Well that one goes against the mainstream narrative.
It’s not just France and Israel.
So what happens in our body if we lower cholesterol?
Yep, if we eat no cholesterol, our body will start making it. I guess our body knows more of what it needs than Pfizer.
So we get rid of statins and then comes the injectable drugs to lower cholesterol.
Did you know as we age, we get more worried about heart disease? It can be the normal aging process. So should we then try and lower cholesterol as we age?
How much more research will the mainstream ignore before ending their war on cholesterol?
OK. This is long enough.
Let’s end it with one last one.
Questions and comments always welcome.

My wife and I have been bucking the trend for decades. She has a health background, and, after reading the book "Your Body's Many Cries For Water", and our changing our diet (in a good way!), we've been able to get our LDL to be near 80 for years. We also have normal range HDL (if you believe in these ranges). Anyway, lovin' this post you just put up because we've gotta get more people to drop the drugs and drink water and eat well!!!
Knowing Grok and AI is not able to “see through the bias of past research” and “nor is it able to see innovative thought that goes against the mainstream,”
does not surprise me. That’s pretty much from where many folks and assumingely doctor’s operate.
I find it positive and refreshing to go against the mainstream “opinions” and consensus. That’s just one way I feed my valuable love of learning.
