Did you ever feel like the rules of the game were set against you?
Did you ever feel like the rules change for the benefit of those in power?
When you were young and playing games with your friends, there were rules you followed. The rules rarely changed unless mutually agreed upon. If someone knowingly tried to change the rules mid game for their own benefit, well, the game was no longer honest and fair as the result became predetermined? I did not play with those people then. I prefer not to play with them now.
Come to think about it, this is one of the many reasons the Institute for Medical Wellness (IMW) is a Direct Primary Care (DPC) office. The rules of the IMW DPC are set so that we have a mutually beneficial working environment with the main focus being to improve your health. We are looking at you as an individual. Advice, discussions and decisions are focused solely on how said advice will affect your health, period.
Back to the rules as they be changing.
I used to think that as adults, we matured and did not play petty rule changing games like this. Unfortunately I have learned that present day life as an adult is not much different than childhood life with ever changing rules. So I learned to trust very few. I learned to be responsible for myself. I learned not to be dependent upon anyone or anything. With rules and definitions always changing, I need to always be alert, especially in health and wellness. I have little trust in those who feel they have authority to wield or power to control others based on their version of the truth. Bias is everywhere. We need to open our eyes and ears though to see and hear it.
The dystopian world we are now living is an example of those in authority changing the rules for their own benefit, while trying to make it seem like they have your best interests in mind. They do this through what some call Psyops, by sowing division amongst us and by the use of fear tactics.
So let us look at some of the health and wellness "rule changes" that have occurred since COVID. These rule changes have been described by others as moving the goalposts.
Look closely at the definitions and the dates.
Herd Immunity
Pretty interesting how the definition of herd immunity just so happened to change along with the COVID rule book???
Vaccine or Vaccination - This definition could not have changed, or did it?
Yep, the CDC changed the definition in the middle of a pandemic????
Hmmmm…. I wonder why??
Oh and if you believe the authorities when they say “Trust the Science”
I hope soon the war on cholesterol will end and we can add it to the pic above.
Science is always changing.
There are usually more than two sides to every scientific debate. Yet if you debate the topic of COVID and treatments, you risk censorship if you disagree.
You get accused of misinformation.
What if those that disagree with how COVID is being handled believe we are being fed disinformation?
Shhh!!!
“Shut up and play by my rules!”
Is this truth, deception, ignorance, greed or politics?
There are many people asking these questions.
You are not alone.
Today it’s “Get a COVID vaccine to participate in society.”
What will it be tomorrow?
Will they go after Overweight and Obese people next as their healthcare costs are much higher?
What about smokers?
Do you drink alcohol?
Will there be second class citizens dependent upon the ever changing rules of the power elite?
Is COVID the gateway to the slippery slope of lost healthcare as well as other freedoms we have taken for granted?
How long until one of their new rules/definitions costs you your job or your benefits?
This post is not about COVID vaccines. If you want a COVID vaccine and you have researched the subject and been given informed consent, then go get a vaccine. You may be correct and it may help you.
But that should be your choice without pressure, coercion, bullying or threats.
Do you still think this is about a virus?
What would a post be without a pic of an IMW Low Carb Keto meal?

Once again, you have succinctly expressed what we are feeling and believe! Thank you for being an informed, lucid voice during this dangerously crazy time!
I totally agree with you! The goal posts are shifted all the time, since covid.
