When I was a child, the doctor made house calls. When my children were young, the doctor was a great resource, I could call him whenever I had questions or concerns. Today, when I call the doctor, I get an automated message asking for my name, rank ,and serial number, then after I am put on hold, the office says the next appointment is in two weeks.

My solution - today - is to stay out of the healthcare system as much as possible. While I have had a few positive experiences, there have been far too many that give me pause to trust they have my best interest at heart. It seems to be more about making money . .at every angle.

No, we are not longer living in a free country/world. We willingly gave it away for a false sense of safety over a runny nose. Oh, it’s not even dysfunctional anymore, it’s just straight on managed DeathCare.
