Sooooo…..
Thank you to everyone who commented. Now I will fulfill my promise to give my responses to the quotes that were shown in yesterday’s post.
The reason for this post is that a large part of optimization of health and wellness is in your perceptions. I always like to challenge perceptions IF they are harmful or not helpful to your health and wellness journey.

Sometimes we put too much time and effort getting ready for the future and we don’t live enough in today. At the IMW my goal is to help everyone optimize their present as well as future health. I don’t believe we need to sacrifice today for a better tomorrow when we can have better today’s and tomorrow’s.

This is why I go to so many conferences as well as stay active reading, reading and more reading. We can always learn more. Medical school gave me the language and foundations I needed to be a physician. But every day after that is and continues to be a learning experience. Generally people learn from those with more experience.

This quote is more about the educational system that I went through “back in the days”. I can’t comment much on the present system as I am not involved there. But much of high school, college and my medical training was about memorizing as opposed to learning concepts and how to utilize them. I think we need more thought and questioning today or the healthcare system will continue to devolve.

This is much of social media. I prefer civil discussions as opposed to arguments. I also prefer discussions with people who can see thru their biases with an open mind. But unfortunately that is not how much of social media operates.

I give this advice to all of my practice whenever they go to consult a specialist. Ask as many questions as possible until you get a good understanding of what the Specialist believes is going on. Also, generally, the more questions the Specialist asks you, the better chance they will figure out what is going on.
I am grateful to be a part of this community. Your quotes and thoughts inspire me to dig deeper into this journey.
Great quotes for health...and Life!
