I’ve learned in the 30+ years of practice that not everyone has the same views on health issues. I’ve also learned that there are often NOT distinctions between right and wrong or healthy and unhealthy habits or decisions.
Because of this I prefer to help people find a health balance in their life in respect to diet, exercise, sleep, stress, hormones etc.
But the hardest part is helping people dig a little deeper in their thought process to truly understand the why’s, when’s and how’s to make these changes. What I have found helpful, as many of my Common Sense Health and Wellness readers have probably surmised, is that I like to use memes as a way to open the thought process, especially funny or sarcastic memes. We all have barriers to change. Often when we laugh at something our barriers drop a bit, perhaps enough to let some new thoughts in, that might just help steer us in a new even healthier direction.
So you know what is coming now.
Memes, memes and more memes to get y’all thinking deeper.
Please consider commenting in the comment section what your favorite meme was and how it may have framed a thought pattern in a new or different direction.
Maybe we should put things in perspective and look for the big elephant instead of the little hyped up mouse.

This next one really hit me.

This one more made me think that we ALL can be wrong. Swallow your pride, learn from it and move on. Don’t berate yourself and end up sicker as a result.

Maybe we take everything so seriously we miss the things that matter because we overcomplicated things?
—
I got nothing to add about this one.
—
We put too much stock in others hoping they will help lead us to good things. We should do better at independent common sense thought and responsibility.
—
The next two may show just how little we actually are in this world.

It’s Summer so the Sun and sunscreen debate has ramped up.

On that note I will end this post for today.
What was your favorite meme?
Did any get you thinking different about a health and wellness issue?
Let me know in the comments below.
My favorite one is the coronavirus one. Such a ridiculous time in our history! The bathtub one made me think the most about not taking things so seriously and over complicating it. I also really like the sunscreen one. All of them are funny in their own way and so true!
I liked the meme about not worrying what others think. That’s a hard one to change your mind on.
