By now most of you have heard of spinning. Classes are offered at most gyms and fitness facilities. The object is to get some physical exercise, challenge yourself, break a sweat, improve your fitness and not get hurt in the process. The hope is to be healthier as a result.
There is another type of spin that I am writing about today. It is centered around my least favorite topic which I hope will soon go away, COVID. Unfortunately the powers that be will just not let that happen.
Introducing Spin class. Classes for the past two years and moving forward are hosted and run by Dr. Tony Fauci.
Let’s start our class preparing for the new Moronic variant otherwise known as Omronic. So far most all data coming in indicate that Omronic variant is more spreadable but much less deadly than Delta as well as the initial Alpha virus. Sounds like a better class than the previous versions where so many people got sick.
This should be good news. Yet that is not what we are hearing from government and public health officials. Instead we get:
“The Spin from Dr. Tony Fauci and his band.”
Instead of:
“Omronic appears to be less deadly”
We get:
“Omronic is much more contagious so everyone go get your vaccines and boosters.”
Instead of:
“There appears to be much much less hospitalizations and deaths from Omronic”
We get:
“Omronic is so much more contagious that even if it is less deadly the increased spread will cause an increase in hospitalizations and death.”
Instead of:
“Omronic appears to be infecting the vaccinated at slightly higher rates than the unvaccinated”
We get:
“Omronic is spreading in both the vaccinated and unvaccinated so go get your vaccines and boosters.”
Instead of:
“Omronic variant appears to be most associated with cold/mild flu like symptoms”
We get:
“Cancel your family holiday parties and get-togethers unless everyone has been triple vaccinated and you still have everyone tested at the door.”
Instead of:
“Fully vaccinated colleges are having large outbreaks of Omronic strain so it does not appear that the vaccines are working”
We get:
“Everyone get your boosters, cancel on campus classes and go home for virtual classes again.”
Instead of:
“It appears that over half the country has had and recovered from COVID and thus has natural immunity to further COVID infections”
We get:
“Everyone get your COVID vaccine and boosters to increase your protection.”
I could go on and on but I will stop for now.
I think I prefer to take a different class without the spin, sorry Dawn.
The government spin machine is on rapid cycle in an attempt to keep you perpetually in fear. The more scared you are the more power and control they have over your life.
Truths
COVID can be serious for the most at risk, those with comorbidities such as old age, Metabolic and Immune issues.
For most everyone else, COVID can range from the sniffles to a flu that can last a few days to a few weeks.
Long COVID is real and does occur. But my belief is that it is not primarily due to COVID, but more to an underlying immune dysfunction that COVID brought out front and center. It was always there in the background but COVID turned the switch.
Early treatments and therapeutics against COVID save lives as well as prevent hospitalizations. The governments advice to wait at home until you can’t breathe approach while dissing most early treatment protocols has been a disaster and cost thousands of lives. I hope in the future someone investigates and gets to the bottom of who decided against early treatments and why.
It’s time to stop paying attention the the government fear mongering spin machine. We are just about two years into this and if we don’t change our direction it will be many more years before the present powers that be let up, IF EVER. There are early therapeutics you can use if you get COVID. Vaccines and ventilators are not your only choices.
Open your minds to reality.
Leave politics at the door.
If you were duped into believing the government spin, don’t feel bad. Over half the country has as well.
Instead of continuing to believe the spin to save face, perhaps get a little peeved at those who may have purposely misled you.
Were the people who misled you just following directions, pressured, gaslighting, duped themselves, arrogant, deceptive, or outright lying. I don’t think we will ever know.
Try this thought out:
You allow yourself to be blindfolded and then are told to begin walking. After about 10 seconds you are allowed to take off the blindfold and you see that you are walking on a plank over the ocean.
Do you put the blindfold back on and walk off the plank to plunge into the ocean, just to save face, so you don’t have to show that you were duped into putting on the blindfold and blindly obeying or believing in authority?
Spin class is now over.
If you need to, go take a shower.
Then think about what you just read.
