Let me know in the comments if you like this feature. I am always always reading. It’s the best way I know to stay on top of the latest in health and wellness.
But during my reading I come across some interesting stuff. I usually save this stuff for later, but as we all know, other stuff happens and then we never look at the previous stuff.
So instead let’s look at some of the stuff today.
So here goes.
Question for all of you.
When putting together this substack post, I had a dilemna.

Tell me whether the chicken or the egg should have gone first?
Is LDL cholesterol truly bad?
I say - “Nah”
But it seems people like to hear it from someone with an accent. So please watch this next short clip.

On the same topic did you know that High ldl increases cognitive function in women over 60?
So do you really want to lower that cholesterol level?
Did ya know that there is approximately 1 teaspoon of sugar in 5 liters of blood which is the average amount of blood in the body?
Did ya also know that the average sugar consumption per day = 17 teaspoons?
So where does all the sugar go???
So perhaps it’s the excess carbs, sugars and vegetable/seed oils that are the issue, and not a substance, cholesterol that without it we would not be alive???
Let’s throw high blood pressure into the mix here. What can we do to lower blood pressure naturally?
UVA and UVB exposure by sunlight produces nitric oxide which dilates arteries and lowers blood pressure. Circadian rhythm controls insulin and cortisol which is important in blood pressure control. Sunlight is free.
Hypertension is NOT a salt intake problem. It’s a salt RETENTION problem.
Salt retention happens in the kidneys. What drives this process in excess is excess insulin.
Lowering insulin by decreasing sugar and carb intake will have a drastic effect on your blood pressure.
Reducing fatty liver lowers insulin and blood pressure. It's all so simple as long as the standard medical advice of the last 60 years is ignored.
Perhaps avoid the excess carbs, sugars and vegetable/seed oils instead of a substance, cholesterol, that without it we would not be alive???
Sooooo, I think that’s enough IMW Weekend Winners for now.
