I’m back again.
Well I am actually still on vaca but I thought this was interesting enough to share.
Earlier this week I mentioned how metabolic health was a big factor in coronary heart disease. So here is another pic to cement that in.
Yea I know, the statistic may be old, comparing 1999 sizes to 2008 sizes.
But look at what the average T-Shirt size was in 1999- It was MEDIUM.
Fast forward to 2008 the average T-Shirt size was XL- Extra Large.
Coronary Heart Disease does not happen overnight. It truly is a slow gradually progressive disease process.
Perhaps the increase in weight over 9 years contributes to the metabolic imbalance that is a primary cause???
Hmmm..
While I am known as being just a tad sarcastic at times, I just want to say how much I appreciate all the subscribers to my Substack, Common Sense Health and Wellness, especially the paid ones! Your support is so greatly appreciated.

Shirt sizing varies among manufacturers and geography. We also have size deflation over time.a womens 12 is now labeled an 8, and a mens large is now labeled a medium for example. To get around these discrepancies, it’s better to look for trends in actual measurements. Look at the measured increases in male and female waist circumference 1999-2016
