So I survived the final day of the A4M December 2023 conference. I think I went to 5 presentations today and made my last rounds of the Exhibit Hall. I wrote down some possible thoughts about what A4M likes to say, “You can start Monday morning when you return to real life and real work.”
So here goes some thoughts of things I may be rolling out not Monday but hopefully in the near future.
I went to an excellent talk on Methylene Blue and photodynamic therapy for all types of inflammatory conditions. I will be testing out a few protocols first but I am very hopeful this could be a game changer for many chronic health conditions.
As most of you know I work very hard to help you understand how to make your metabolism optimal. Well besides the usual diet and exercise, I will soon be introducing a few safe nutrients to use to help you get there quicker.
Many people are using hormone replacement, whether it be Estrogen, Progesterone, Testosterone or even Thyroid. Well I need to do a tiny bit more research but I just learned how all these hormones might not work as well if their receptors in the cell membranes are blocked or resistant to the hormones. Kind of like how cells become resistant to the hormone Insulin. Well there just might be more help for those conditions which if it works could help using hormone replacement more efficacious and also lower doses.
I am looking in to something that enables minerals and electrolytes to work better and easier in your body. So with their use you would need less minerals/electrolytes to supplement.
I spoke at length with a company new to me that has new nutrient blends to help with Brain degenerative disorders such as dementia, Parkinson’s and others I forgot off the top of my head while writing this.
Break time for upcoming IMW protocols to show a pic of a presentation I did not attend as I had no interest at all.
I think you all know who that is. I did not enter the hall where he was speaking. I took this pic from the door outside the hall. But it looks like he had a packed house. I respect all my fellow A4M attendees but I sometimes wonder about their gullibility. I guess we have all been there at some point.
I was introduced to a new supplement for people with chronic bladder or urinary tract infections. It might also work well with Methylene Blue.
I don’t like to prescribe antibiotics but I know that at times they are necessary. Antibiotics can mess with the Gut bacterial balance and leave you with gut inflammation. To help reduce that risk I will hopefully be introducing something new to have on hand in your medicine cabinet in case you need antibiotics. It is NOT a probiotic.
I found a good inexpensive brand of Silver nanoceuticals that appear to be helpful for all kinds of infections.
What would a Common Sense Health and Wellness post without a food pic be?
I did the fasting thing again, so my entire trip other than the day I flew out to Vegas was a One Meal A Day or OMAD style of eating. While I wanted to remain totally carnivore I did find it difficult while eating out. But that’s why the OMAD can be real powerful for metabolic and gut health.
Dinner was a filet that came with a side of potatoes and some green stuff I left on the plate. The steak was excellent but the garlic roasted potatoes were worth not being fully carnivore for the night.
The restaurant was in the Pallazzo hotel which is part of the Venetian hotels in Vegas. The restaurant was hopping but the waiter said that was due to U2 playing a final concert in the Las Vegas Sphere which is also part of the Venetian hotel complex. If you are in Vegas I would recommend Matteo’s for a meal. They are not cheap, but if you only eat one meal a day, it is doable.
As always questions and comments welcome.
For paid subscribers we may be discussing more of the above on Wednesday December 20th at 7PM EST at the IMW Zoom conference call. If you are not yet a paid member to Common Sense Health and Wellness, there is no better time than now. It’s a whole $5/ month.
Having the rest of my labs done soon and will make an appointment in the new year. Can’t wait to hear about the new supplements!!
I've been taking methylene blue for a while! I'm convinced it has helped me!
