FDA Bans Juul From Selling E-Cigarettes in U.S.
Federal health officials order vaping pioneer to pull its products; Juul says it will fight order.
I am NOT an advocate of E- Cigarettes, otherwise known as Electronic cigarettes.
I don’t think they are healthy. Actually I think they are very harmful to your lungs and for your overall health.
Would you run into a wildfire and purposely take a deep breathe in of all the smoke and toxic burning material?
That’s kind of what you are doing when you smoke an E-cigarette or a normal old fashioned cigarette. Both are slightly different methods of inhaling smoke and other substances into your lungs.
So a question to ponder.
If the FDA feels they can ban E-cigarettes because they are harmful to your health, why don’t they ban regular cigarettes as well?
Keep reading as I am NOT advocating for any ban.
I believe that high fructose corn syrup and margarine are harmful to your health.
While they are harmful in my view, does that give me or the government the right to ban those products outright?
I don’t believe the FDA should have that authority. It is a very slippery slope to give a government agency composed of unelected bureaucrats financed by special interests the ability to move the needle in the favor of their preferred sponsor.
In other words the FDA gets to pick winners and losers.
Not you. You do not get that choice.
The all knowing OZ, umm the FDA gets to decide that.
Often the FDA will do the right thing. I am not against the FDA in principle. Not at all. But give them an inch and they take a mile, and along that path your personal rights and freedoms get trampled.
I prefer using a more common sense health and wellness approach.
It’s called education.
Ask me if you should smoke?
Ask me if you should vape or use electronic cigarettes?
Ask me about your diet and whether you should eat foods with margarine or high fructose corn syrup?
I’ll give you my educated unbiased opinion. That opinion could change depending on who is asking the question and what their health issues are?
You will then get to decide whether to continue the unhealthy habits or not.
That is your choice in a free society.
Government can not protect everyone from everything.
At some point we all need to take some individual responsibilities for our actions.
Give the government an inch and they will take a mile.
Today they are banning an electronic cigarette.
Tomorrow the government may decide to start limiting or banning beef.
Maybe they will ban the use of water to use for crops.
Oops, they already have in California.
Perhaps they decide you need to limit beef and start eating bugs instead for protein?
I’m just not sure how I can keep the insects from falling thru the grates on my grill???
You see where I am going with this?
Today the powers that presently be in government tell you what you can’t do and tomorrow they will mandate what you must do. No questions asked. Disagree and you get labeled a conspiracy theorist.
Eat the new and improved Big Mac made from crickets instead of beef.
Yum Yum???
Think about the COVID vaccine and mask mandates if you do not see the connection.
We don’t need a village to tell us what to eat or drink and what to do with our leisure activities. I don’t mind guidance from unbiased researchers giving me quality information on subjects.
In fact I want more unbiased information and data on anything health and wellness related. I can them use that data to formulate opinions on how to live my life as healthy as possible. I can use that date ALONG WITH real life clinical experience to help guide you as well.
So while I would NOT recommend using e-cigarettes, I don’t believe it is my right nor the right of the FDA to outright ban their sale.
You get further with sugar than with vinegar.
Be careful what you wish for when you want the government involved to tell everyone what they should do. This utopian dream usually becomes a dystopian nightmare.
As another Moronic COVID variant spreads here is an easy simple suggestion to consider to have on hand BEFORE you get COVID so you are ready to go if/before you get infected.
To clear sinuses and oral cavity
1- Get the following:
—XLear nasal spray - it is over the counter.
—Hydrogen peroxide
—Lugols iodine liquid
DO NOT USE IODINE IF YOU HAVE AN IODINE ALLERGY
Open the bottle of XLear and add one DROP each of peroxide and iodine. Close the bottle and shake it up to mix.
Spray each nostril 3-4 times a day when sick. The combination of the XLear, peroxide and Iodine should help disinfect your nasal and sinus cavities of virus, bacteria and fungi.
2- You can ALSO do similar mix but instead of using the XLear nasal spray, instead put a drop each of peroxide and iodine in 4 ounces of water. Gargle with this rinse a few times a day and spit it out.
Both peroxide and Iodine in dilute amounts can help the immune system kill off bacteria, viruses and yeast/fungi.
You can do this rinse if you are out in public and were exposed to COVID or other viruses.
You do NOT need to do either of these if you are feeling well and do NOT Have COVID. This is just for upper respiratory infections and NOT for every day use.
Have this in your home at all times just in case.
Do not use if allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients.
As we head into the weekend here are a few other lighter things to think about.

As always comments and questions welcome and encouraged.
Glad you are feeling better!
I would love to hear your side of this and will listen with kindness, respect and a willingness to learn something I haven’t considered. Isn’t removing a right somilar to banning a right?
Perhaps having been bannished from many gatherings and activities over the past few years has me overextending the usage of the word.
We are not here to debate Rowe v Wade, or politics. Please let’s stick to common sense health and wellness.
