Laughter is or should be part of everyone’s daily life.
Laughter decreases cortisol, aka your stress hormone. Chronically elevated cortisol speeds up the aging process.
Laughter increases Dopamine which is a feel-good neurotransmitter in your brain. Nothing wrong with feeling good, is there?
Laughter puts a smile on your face where there might otherwise be a frown. Nothing wrong with that unless you want to be a buzz-kill.
Laughter helps your immune system which I think we have all put more thought into over the past three years.
So really who doesn’t want to laugh?
Question for ya.
Would you rather spend your day with someone who stresses you out?
OR
Would you rather spend your day with someone who makes you smile and laugh?
So my challenge today, Challenge #8 for those of you who are counting, is for you to find something/someone that makes you laugh or at least have a wicked smile, something that is all good and doesn’t hurt or insult anyone, and then, find ways to do that every day.
