Sun Sun, Mr. Golden Sun

Please shine down on me.

Sorry but when my daughter was growing up, I heard Barney singing that song just about every day.

Sorry, I hope that pic did not scare ya.

Supposedly Barney is a “friendly” dinosaur. I wonder if back then dinosaurs avoided the Sun? Somehow I doubt it.

But today’s challenge is not about a dinosaur, but instead about sunshine.

Here is another area that I have some disagreements with the traditional mode of thought.

All I hear is to avoid the sun and slather on sunscreen. I understand where that came from. Skin cancers are very common and Dermatologists are not incorrect in trying to prevent skin cancers. But does avoiding the sun actually prevent deadly skin cancers?
