Diet and Nutrition play a big part in achieving optimal health and wellness. But we all know that there is more. I believe the healthiest people have found their balance of diet, nutrition and activity/exercise. Nutrition not only fuels us, but also helps us build and maintain all the structures in our body. Burning fuel from the food we eat, helps to energize all the structures to do the jobs they were given. Thus, we need to achieve and maintain a healthy balance between diet/nutrition and activity.

So let’s think about it.
If we don’t consume enough nutrition or have enough stored fuel in our fat cells we will not have the energy to fuel our body, nor the materials to maintain it. If we consume too much nutrition on a chronic basis, we may run out of safe places to store the materials, meaning our fat cells can no longer accommodate more fuel to store. This OVERLOAD can cause inflammation and many other disease processes.
