Welcome to everyone who came over from my previous newsletter feed on IContact.
I’m glad you are here.
The February 2022 Low Carb #IMWChallenge continues.
I hope everyone following along and taking part are learning about the many benefits of Lower Carbohydrate eating OTHER than weight loss. We will continue the learning in March when we transition to a Fasting Challenge. More on that later.
As part of the #IMWChallenge I have posted as well as asked others to post or send me their favorite Low Carb challenge meals. I have since learned that sharing the low carb pics here on Common Sense Health and Wellness may get more views than if shared on social media sites. So I will be sharing a favorite low carb food here that I probably had on Instagram @IMWHorvitz
It is called a CHAFFLE .
It is a play on the word waffle but instead of being very high in carbohydrates, it has just about none. Yep that means none, nada, zero, zilch. No carbs.
Below is a pic of a generic CHAFFLE.
It looks kind of like a waffle.
That’s because it is made in a waffle iron.
The ingredients for this CHAFFLE is pretty simple.
2 eggs mixed with 1/2 a cup of grated or sliced cheese of your choosing along with any spices you want to put in. So in essence it is a cheese omelet but it looks and feels like a waffle.
The fun part about CHAFFLES are that you can do many different things with them.
You can throw them like a frisbee.
You can wear them on your head like a hat.
But my favorite thing to do with a CHAFFLE is to dress them up and eat them.
And since they are low carb there is no remorse.
Below is a CHAFFLE pizza topped with pepperoni and broccoli.
Next we have a CHAFFLE with broccoli and cheese. I broke off pieces and dipped them in fresh Tzatziki.
Next we have a CHAFFLE with ground beef on top, sort of like a sloppy joe but since homemade it is so much tastier.
Next is one of my favorites, a CHAFFLE Burger. For this one I used a smaller waffle maker so the burger would fit perfectly.
Is your mouth watering??
Next is a CHAFFLE with salami and melted cheese.
Last but not least, and always a fan favorite.
An Everything CHAFFLE with cream cheese, onion and salmon. The everything is the everything bagel seasonings used when making the CHAFFLE in the waffle iron.
It’s as close to a bagel, cream cheese and fish that you will get on a Lower Carbohydrate lifestyle.
All of the above CHAFFLES were absolutely delicious and cooked up very quickly.
Directions for the normal size waffles:
Preheat a non-stick waffle iron
Mix two eggs with 1/2 cup of cheese.
Add in any spices and mix well.
Put the mixture into the waffle iron. Actual amount may differ dependent upon the size of your waffle iron.
Cook it in the waffle iron til done.
Remove carefully. I bought a waffle iron food remover, I doubt that is what it is really called but it gets a grip of the waffle without breaking it into pieces.
CHAFFLES have become a regular in my home whether for lunch or dinner.
Have any of you made CHAFFLES yet?
If so is your recipe any different?
Have you made any interesting CHAFFLES with other added ingredients you would like to share?
Q: What’s a newsletter without some sarcasm?
A: A wasted newsletter.
So looking at the pic above, please tell me how masks work.
Virus particles are 0.06 to 0.14 microns
Surgical mask pores are 10 to 100x larger at 1 to 10 microns. So viral particles can easily fit through the mask pores.
Not to forget the mask gaps that are about 25,000x larger than viral particles.
The gaps are so large compared to the small viral particle that we can call the gaps Mask Holes.
So do ya think virus particles can get thru a surgical mask?
Meme of the Day
Sometimes I think that truly is Big Pharma’s business plan.

As always comments and questions are encouraged.
What brand waffle maker do you use? Ceramic coating?
Confirmed. Pork roll and cheese in between chaffles is top notch.
