Most of you know I am not a fan of cholesterol lowering drugs, especially statin drugs.
I could tell you why, but better yet, let the Midwestern Doctor tell you instead. He brings all the receipts.
So when doctors tell you NOT to do Carnivore, Keto or Low Carb because it will raise your cholesterol ……
Remember or perhaps just know that there are good studies showing that more cholesterol is better for your health.

Higher cholesterol benefits your immune system.

Sorry, copy and paste the above links if you want to nerd out and read the article.
I could go on but I like to keep things short and sweet.
Be wary of those who tell you that cholesterol is evil and must be lowered. Do some research and see what you find and what you believe. When it is for preventive health it is your choice.
The last 4 years hopefully has proven that being pressured, coerced or threatened to do something medically does not work.
So ask questions and hold your ground politely. It is OK to say thank you Doc, before I start this treatment program I would like some further time to think it thru.
As always, comments and questions welcome.

Read Midwestern Docs substack and it was good. Shared it, as I've done in the past, and one answer was "I'll talk to my Doc about it" UGH!!
